It has been decided to hold a painting session in the Club Room for members during the summer months. It will be held on Wednesday, 10th June, Wednesday, 22nd July and Wednesday 12th August, between 9.30 and 12.00.

JUNE 3rd

Country Centre Ferring, Stables, fields, Garden Centre and Rife

Meet in the car park, coffee in the Café after the session. There is a charge for painting in the farm

JUNE 10th

RSPB Pulborough Brooks and Wiggonholt Church, Woodland views and the small Parish Church a short walk away

A24 to Washington roundabout, turn left to Storrington, go through the town towards Pulborough A283, signposted on the left. Shop, Café and toilets.

JUNE 17th

Arun Yacht Cub Littlehampton, Boats, River Arun buildings, A259, west of river, Left into Ferry Road, right into Rope Walk Club house on the left. Car park, refreshments and toilets available.

JUNE *24th

10.00 am meet Highdown Gardens and Highdown Hill, Trees and shrubs, pond and rocks, chalk pit gardens and views from the hill. Choose anywhere to paint but not blocking pathways. Toilets and refreshments available in the Tea room next to the gardens.

From Tuesday 11th to Sunday 23rd August a group of Arun Art Society members will be holding an exhibition at The Montague Gallery in Worthing. (The gallery is in the road almost opposite to M&S, in the precinct).

The Society's year runs from January to December. Updates will be posted when new sessions are arranged.

Demonstrations are free to members; we welcome non-members for a nominal fee of £5. As part of our partnership with Arundel Art Society, members have free access to each other's demonstrations and on similar terms to other arranged events.

INDOOOR SESSIONS 2026

From January to May practical sessions are held every Wednesday from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. in Ferring Village Club Room and the Griffin Room. Members usually work on their own projects in the Club Room. An optional programme is available for those choosing to work in the Griffin Room but use of the room is flexible.

Our Facebook page attracts regular new work from many of our artists, often carried out during one of our weekly sessions. Members and their friends can join the page – allowing them to post items and offer constructive feedback. The general public can view the page but not comment.
