OILS & ACRYLIC - Movement and Circus Art

Saturday 18th January 2025 ​​​​​​​Our indoor programme began the year with a lively and engaging session by Curtis Tappenden who demonstrated some of his many talents while describing to us the history of circus and circus art both here and abroad. He began with some of his rhythmic poetry, ended with an amusing story and in between we were given a taste of his passion for all things to do with circus, starting at an early age, and his method of capturing the movement of the acrobats and performers. We enjoyed an absorbing afternoon with an engaging character who held our attention and entertained us for the whole session.
