For me the challenges in painting and the process of painting have to outweigh the outcomes, as quite often they are disastrous, but the trying out of new subjects, new materials and the creativity of the process ,I think ,makes me keep trying.   Also this friendly Arun Art Society is a great support for me in such endeavours.
